Virginia's Cabbage Casserole

In a medium bowl, combine the milk, mayonnaise, soup and cheese together and set aside.

Mix crushed cornflakes with the melted butter. Put 1/2 of cornflake mixture on bottom of casserole dish. Layer cabbage then onion, pour cheese mixture over onion and cabbage. Put remainder of cornflake mixture on top. Bake at 350degrees for 40 minutes.
