This dish is good hot or at room temerature. Great for carry-ins.
Everyone raises their eyebrows when you tell them what it is and then they all ask for the
recipe.
2 | 16 oz. cans | French style green beans |
1 | Large | Onion, chopped |
3 | Slices | Bacon, cut up |
1/2 | Cup | Catsup |
1/4 | Cup | Vinegar |
1/2 | Cup | Sugar |
Brown bacon and onion together. Add catsup, vinegar and sugar to the bacon and onion. Cook until it thickens. Drain green beans and put in a casserole dish. Pour sauce over beans. Bake covered at 325degrees for 30 minutes.
