Seafood Bake

These can be kept chilled, then toasted in the oven just before lunch.
Filling may be used on buns or in sandwiches.
6 1/2 | oz. | canned tuna, drained |
4 | oz. | canned broken shrimp, drained |
1/2 | cup | finely chopped celery |
1/4 | tsp. | salt |
1/8 | tsp. | pepper |
1/3 | cup | mayonnaise |
1 | cup | grated Cheddar cheese |
marinated onion rings | ||
Mix first 6 ingredients together.
Spread on bun halves or bread.
Add some cheese and onion rings.
Add second slice of bread.
Brush with melted butter or margarine.
Place on baking sheet.
Toast in 400 F oven for about 10 minutes.
Makes 2 cups of filling.
