NOTE TO READER: Double, triple or quadruple the recipe for larger portions. Because I perfected the recipe in my home town of Orillia, Ontario, I call this taste sensation Rilli Chili.
1 | lb | Lean ground beef (sauteed) |
1 | lg | White onion |
1 | lg | Green pepper |
1 | lg | Red pepper |
10 | Mushrooms | |
2 | Cloves garlic | |
Chop and saute the above in butter or olive oil | ||
1 | can | Tomatoes (28 ounce) |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | tbsp | Chili powder |
1/4 | tsp | Cayenne |
1/4 | tsp | Paprika |
1/2 | tsp | Black pepper |
1 | tin | Kidney beans (1902 tin) |
1 | tin | Corn |
Bring all of the ingredients to a boil and simmer for 3 hours.
