Pete's French Onion Soup
From the Kitchen of: Pete Mahnke, Sr.
1 | can | Light onion soup |
1 | can | Beef broth soup |
1 | oz | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | med | Onion - finely chopped |
1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| | Butter |
2 | soup cans of | Water |
- Sauté onions in butter until brown. Combine soups with water and worcestershire sauce. Add onions and simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Cut small pieces of french bread and spread with butter. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on the butter and broil until lightly brown. When serving soup, float bread on top.
