Range top cooking time: 22 to 24 minutes

1/2 | C | Chopped onion |
11/2 | C | Water |
1 | 61/2 oz can | Minced clams |
3/4 | tsp | Salt |
1/4 | tsp | Pepper |
1 | lb | Asparagus, cut in 1" lengths |
2 | C | Milk |
2 | tbsp | Flour |
2 | tbsp | Butter or margarine |
Combine potatoes, onions, and water in large saucepan. Drain clams, reserving liquid. Add clam liquid, salt and pepper to potato mixture. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 20 minutes. Add clams just before serving.
