3 | coils | Sausage (farmer, deer, etc.), cut bite size |
3 | cups | Cubed ham |
5 to 6 | Carrots, chopped | |
4 | stalks | Celery, chopped |
2 | Medium onions, chopped | |
4 to 5 | Medium potatoes, chopped | |
1 | 14 oz can | Tomato sauce |
2 | cans | Kidney beans |
1 | 28 oz. can | Tomatoes |
1 | tbsp. | Worcestershire sauce |
1/2 | tsp. | Pepper |
Put vegetables, sausage and remaining ingredients in a soup pot. Cover vegetable mixture with water until vegetables start to float.
Simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Just before serving, add Worcestershire sauce.
YIELD: Eight quarts soup
