Lo-Cal Cream of Tomato Soup

1 | lg | Onion, chopped |
1/2 | C | Water |
2 | | Chicken bouillion cubes |
1 | tsp | Salt |
2 | tbsp | Flour |
1 | C | 2% Milk |
1 | 28 oz can | Tomatoes, pureed |
1/2 | tsp | Thyme |
1/2 | tsp | Basil |
1/2 | pkg | Sweet & Low |
- Sauté onions in 1/2 cup water and 1 bouillion cube until tender. Add salt and flour to onion mixture to thicken. Slowly add milk, stirring well.
- Puree tomatoes in blender and slowly add to milk mixture. Add thyme and basil and extra bouillion cube if desired. Simmer 30 minutes.
