This recipe was my mother's handed down to my dad. He use to cook this and even my children loved it.
Water (enough to cover ham hocks) | ||

1 | lb | Baby lima beans (presoaked & rinsed) |
1/2 | lb (or more) | Bacon, cut into small pieces & fried until well done |
2 | Onions (suit to taste, cut into small strips) | |
2 | lg (or 4 sm) | Bay leaves |
1-2 | cans | Beef broth |
1-2 | cans | Spam, or use ham. Cut into bite size pieces |
Salt & pepper to taste |
