Fry chicken. Make a roux with flour. Fry onions until soft. Add two quarts of water slowly to soup base. Cook until it boils. Add chicken and oysters. Add all of seasonings. Cook until chicken gets cooked, about 2 1/2 hours. When cooked thoroughly, add filé.
