A cross between a Denver and Benedict Bun. A hearty snack.
1 | tbsp. | Finely chopped onion |
1 | tsp. | Butter or margarine |
1 | Egg | |
1 | tbsp | Water |
1 | English muffin, split, toasted and buttered - or hot dog bun | |
1 | Ham slice or crispy bacon | |
1 | Tomato slice | |
2 | tbsp. | Shredded lettuce |
Add egg and water. Scramble-fry.
On bottom half of toasted muffin, layer ham, tomato and lettuce. Top with scrambled egg mixture. Cover with muffin top. Makes 1.
