1/2 | cup | plain yogurt |
1/2 | cup | grated carrot |
1 | tbsp. | finely chopped onion |
1/2 | tsp. | dried sweet basil |
4 | kaiser rolls, split | |
4 | lettuce leaves | |
1 | large | tomato, thinly sliced |
8 | oz. | cooked lean beef, thinly sliced |
1/2 | medium | cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced |
1/4 | cup | grated medium Cheddar cheese |
1 | cup | alfalfa sprouts |
salt, to taste | ||
pepper, to taste |
Layer bottom halves of rolls with lettuce, tomato, beef, cucumber, cheese
and alfalfa sprouts.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spoon 1/4 cup yogurt mixture over top of sprouts.
Cover with top halves of rolls.
Makes 4.
