Vanilla Sauce II


From the Kitchen of:  Chilipepper

Great served over Pound, Angelfood Cake or Ice cream

  • Combine sugar and cornstarch in a heavy saucepan. Add water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
  • When mixture begins to thicken, remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Serve sauce over cake.
