Vanilla Sauce II
From the Kitchen of: Chilipepper
Great served over Pound, Angelfood Cake or Ice cream
1 | cup | sugar |
2 | Tbs. | cornstarch |
1 | cup | water |
2 | Tbs. | unsalted butter |
2 | Tbs. | unsalted butter |
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a heavy saucepan. Add water.
Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
When mixture begins to thicken, remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla.
Serve sauce over cake.
