TERIYAKI MARINADE

1 | cup | water |
1 | cup | teriyaki sauce |
3/4 | cup | sugar |
1/4 | cup | sake (rice wine) |
1 | tbl. | crushed garlic |
2 | tsp. | grated fresh ginger |
Mix all marinade ingredients together until sugar is dissolved. Marinate poultry, duck or fish in mixture overnight, in the refrigerator.
Baste with marinade during last 15 min. of cooking time. (DISCARD ANY LEFT OVER MARINADE)
