Sweet & Sour Sauce
From the Kitchen of:
Pepper

can
pineapple pieces (425 g.)
2
small
green or red peppers

tbl.
brown sugar

tbl.
cornstarch
1/4
cup
vinegar
1/2
cup
chicken stock
2
tbl.
soy sauce
Drain the pineapple reserving the juice.
Cut the peppers in half lengthwise, remove the core and cut the flesh into cubes or strips.
Mix the brown sugar, cornstarch, reserved juice, vinegar, chicken stock and soy sauce together in a saucepan.
Bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
Add the pineapple pieces and pepper cubes and heat for two minutes.
Makes 21/2 cups.
