Tried and true - may make as hot as you like by adjusting the number of peppers......
3 | quarts | tomatoes, peeled and chopped |
3 | cloves | garlic, chopped (or 3 tsp) |
2 | large | onions, chopped |
2 | bell peppers, chopped | |
4 | jalapenos, seeded (makes it very hot) | |
Juice of 2 limes | ||
3 | tsp. | salt |
2 | tsp. | black pepper |
1 | tsp. | red pepper |
1/4 | tsp. | oregano (or may use 1/2 tsp.) |
Yield 7 - 8 pints
