This was a recipe I got from a friend but adapted with a few changes.
1 | lg jar | Prepared chunky style salsa |
1 | lg | Green pepper |
1 | lg | Red pepper |
1 | med | Red onion |
1 | can | Chopped tomatoes & green chilies |
1 | bunch | Chopped fresh cilantro |
Juice of 1 lemon & 1 lime | ||
Salt, pepper, & garlic powder to taste |
If you don't want the salsa to be too spicy I recommend using mild prepared salsa, you get the kick from the chopped tomatoes and chilies.
