MOLASSES-PORT SAUCE

Comments: Great as a sauce to use over pears or apples when baking.
1 | cup | molasses |
1 | cup | port wine |
1 | tablespoon | butter, melted |
- Stir all ingredients together.
- Bring liquid to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes or until syrup consistency.
- Yield: Enough for 4 servings.
