Mint Sauce for Lamb
From the Kitchen of:
Pepper
1/2
cup
vinegar
1/4
cup
sugar
1/4
cup
water
dash
salt
1/2
cup
finely snipped mint leaves
In a large saucepan combine vinegar, sugar,water, and salt.
Bring mixture to boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
Pour liquid over finely snipped mint leaves and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain mixture for serving hot or cold.
Makes 1/2 cup sauce.
