Hot Fudge Sauce

From the Kitchen of: Brick

  • Put the butter, milk, cocoa and sifted sugar in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Stir until all is melted and mixed.
  • Heat and stir the mixture until it boils, stirring constantly to prevent scorching and remove all lumps.
  • Keep stirring until it reaches a full boil, then boil and stir for one more minute to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  • Put in the freezer for 5-15 minutes to cool and thicken.
  • The sauce should be mousse-like, thick but very light.
  • Refrigerate any left overs and re-heat in the microwave.
