Hot Fudge Sauce
From the Kitchen of: Brick
3 | Tbsp. | Butter, room temperature |
1 | C. | Milk |
1 | C. | Baking Cocoa |
1 | C. | Powdered Sugar, sifted |
1 | Tbsp. | Vanilla |
Put the butter, milk, cocoa and sifted sugar in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Stir until all is melted and mixed.
Heat and stir the mixture until it boils, stirring constantly to prevent scorching and remove all lumps.
Keep stirring until it reaches a full boil, then boil and stir for one more minute to thicken.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Put in the freezer for 5-15 minutes to cool and thicken.
The sauce should be mousse-like, thick but very light.
Refrigerate any left overs and re-heat in the microwave.
