Golden Sauce
From the Kitchen of: Tap (Pat Lamb)
Goes with Steamed Christmas Pudding
1/2 | c. | softened Butter |
1 | c. | Sugar |
1/4 | c. | Whipping Cream |
1 | | Egg |
1 | tsp. | Brandy |
Cream together butter and sugar with electric mixer.
Gradually add the cream, then the egg, beating until
well blended.
Stir in Brandy
Microwave for 5 minutes. Watch so sauce doesn't boil
over.
Makes about 2 cups. Sauce will be slightly runny.
