Eggnog Sauce

3 | | egg yolks |
1/2 | cup | sugar |
1 | cup | light cream |
1 | tbl. | rum or bourbon |

Beat egg yolks with sugar until lemon colored Add cream and blend well. Cook, while stirring over hot water until very thick. Cool and add flavoring.
- Chill and serve over ice cream and/or sponge cake.
