Cranberry Sauce Special
From the Kitchen of: Paz
1 1/2 | lbs | Fresh cranberries |
3 | C | Bottled cranberry juice |
1 1/2 | C | Red currant jam or jelly |
1 1/2 | C | Sugar |
- Wash and pick over cranberries and place in a saucepan. Add
remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then simmer for about 20
minutes.
- Turn into a dish, or two dishes, and refrigerate until ready to
serve.
- Or pour into fancy molds brushed with peanut oil. The sauce will
turn into a jelly and unmold beautifully when cold.
Makes 10-12 servings.
