NOTES : Try this barely cooked sauce for spooning over sundaes or berry-filled meringue shells.
3 | cups | sliced fresh strawberries |
1 | mango -- peeled and diced | |
2 | tablespoons | sugar, or as needed |
1 | tablespoon | fresh lime juice |
In small saucepan over medium heat, combine berries, mango and sugar. Heat just to boiling. Remove from heat; let cool slightly. Puree in blender or food processor
Makes 3 1/2 cups.
