Bordelaise Sauce
From the Kitchen of: Pepper

Comments: Use on steaks, roasts or lamb.
1 | cup | red wine |
1/3 | cup | finely chopped shallots |
1/2 | tsp. | thyme |
1 | cup | Quick Brown Sauce |
1 | tbl. | Cognac |
1 | tsp. | lemon juice |
- Combine above ingredients and over high heat, reduce to 1/2 cup.
- Strain into 1 cup Quick Brown Sauce, cognac and lemon juice.
- Simmer 3-5 min. Season to taste.
