Comments: In addition to being a good white pizza topping, this sauce also is good on fettucini for a quick Alfredo, or combine it with marinara sauce for a "rosa" or mellow, creamy pasta topping.

2	tablespoons	margarine or butter
3	tablespoons	flour
1	cup	milk
1/4	teaspoon	salt
1/8	teaspoon	pepper
1/4	teaspoon	garlic powder
1/2	cup	parmesan cheese or shredded havarti

• Heat margarine and stir in flour. Blend to slightly cook the flour. Gradually add milk, whisking gently to make a sauce.
• When slightly thickened, stir in spices and cheese.
