Creamy Yogurt Coleslaw

Here is a low-calorie version of the traditional mayonnaise-based coleslaw.
3 | Tbsp | Plain low-fat yogurt |
2 | Tbsp | Sour cream |
3/4 | tsp | Prepared yellow mustard |
1/2 | tsp | Sugar |
1/2 | tsp | Vinegar |
1/4 | tsp | Celery seeds |
1/8 | tsp | Salt |
1/8 | tsp | Black pepper |
1 3/4 | cups | Coarsely shredded cabbage |
1/4 | cup | Coarsely grated carrot |
- In medium-size bowl, combine the yogurt, sour cream, mustard, sugar, vinegar, celery seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cabbage and carrot and toss well to mix.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hurs, tossing occasionally.
- Serves 4
