Meal in One Creamy Potato Salad With Shrimp

I am not giving exact measurements as different people will have to make different amounts. This salad is great for picnics and also very good for other occasions
| | eggs |
| | potatoes |
| | onion, minced |
| | dill pickle, chopped |
| | mayonnaise |
| | mustard |
| | shrimp or crabmeat |
| | salt to taste |
| | pepper to taste |
| | garnishes |
- Prepare 1 hard boiled egg for each medium/large potato that has been boiled in its jacket
- Cool eggs while you are removing the jackets from the hot or warm potatoes. Do not allow potatoes to become cold
- Dice potatoes and place in mixing bowl. Grate the hard cooked eggs over the potatoes
- Add onions and pickles in quantity to suit your taste
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Gently toss mixture together
- Mix in the mayonnaise and enough mustard to give the mixture a nice light yellow color
- Add either well drained cooked shrimp or crab, tossing carefully to blend but not crush the diced potatoes
- Garnish with sliced eggs, seafood and sprinkle with paprika
