Old Fashioned Cole Slaw

This is from my 85 year old Mother's recipe collection
| 3 | | Egg yolks |
| 1 | tbsp | Butter |
| 1 | tsp | Sugar |
| 1/2 | C | Vinegar |
| 1/2 | tsp | Pepper |
| 1 | tsp | Salt |
| 1/2 | tsp | Dry mustard |
| | med | Head of cabbage |
| | | Hard cooked eggs |
- Mix all ingredients except cabbage and cook slowly until thickened.
Pour while hot over finely shredded cabbage and set aside to cool.
Serve with slices of hard cooked eggs.
