Strawberry Pie

1 | pint | Fresh strawberries |
2 1/2 | Tbsp | Cornstarch |
2 | Tbsp | Water |
1 | pkg (10 oz) | Frozen straberries |
1/2 | cup | Sugar |
1 | | Baked pie shell |
| | Whipped cream |
- Combine water and cornstarch in a saucepan.
- Add defrosted, frozen berries and sugar.
- Bring to a boil. Cook for a few minutes until thick and smooth.
- Cool slightly.
- Put fresh berries into pie shell and spoon the sauce over them.
- Chill and serve with lots of whipped cream.
