Meringue Topping

Beat eggs until frothy.
Add sugar gradually and continue beating until stiff.
Add flavoring.
Pile on pie and bake at 350 degrees F 10 to 15 minutes.
For a 9-inch pie use 3 egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar. Proceed as above.
For a 10-inch pie use 4 egg whites and 1/2 cup sugar. Proceed as above.
