I've made these for years and they're great. They can be filled with just about anything from pudding (chocolate's my favorite) to whipped cream to tuna salad or ham salad. You can also drizzle the top with chocolate sauce or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Just use your imagination!
1 | C | Water |
1/2 | C | Butter or margarine |
1 | C | Flour |
1/4 | tsp | Salt |
4 | Eggs |
Bring water and butter to boil. Add flour and salt, stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Drop 1/4 C batter, 3" apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees, 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet immediately; cool. Makes 1 dozen.
