Preheat oven to 375°F.
Grease and flour 10" pie pan.
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in medium bowl. Cream together sugar, brown sugar and margarine in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture a little at a time. Stir until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into pie (or cake) pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.
