Butter Pastry Shell
From the Kitchen of:

All-purpose flour

Sugar

Butter or margarine, cut into small pieces

Egg yolk
In a food processor or a bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Add the butter or margarine; whirl (or rub with your fingers) until fine crumbs form.
Add the egg yolk; whirl (or mix with a fork) until dough holds together.
Divide dough in half.
Press each portion over bottom and up sides of a 7 1/2-inch tart pan with a removeable bottom (you will need 2 pans).
Bake pastry shells in a 300 degree F oven until pale gold, 25 to 30 minutes; let cool.
If made ahead, cover and let stand at room temperature.
