Apple Butter Pie

| 6 | | Egg yolks |
| 3 | cups | Apple butter |
| 3 | Tbsps. | Butter, melted |
| 2 | Tbsps. | Flour, sifted |
| 2 | Tbsps. | Light corn syrup |
| 1 | pint | Cream |
| 1/2 | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | tsp | Cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp | Nutmeg |
| 1/2 | pint | Whipping cream |
| 2 | 9-inch | Pie shells |

- Beat egg yolks until thick. Add apple butter and stir in butter, sifted flour and syrup. Blend in cream and add sugar and spices.
- Pour into pie shells and bake 40 minutes at 375º
- When pies cool, top with whipped cream.
- Halve recipe for one pie.
