1½ | c. | quick or old-fashioned uncooked oats |
1 | c. | all-purpose flour |
½ | c. | brown sugar, packed firmly |
½ | tsp. | baking soda |
10 | tbsp. | butter or margarine, melted |
1 | can | apple pie filling (21 oz.) |
¾ | c. | Craisins sweetened dried cranberries |
1½ | tsp. | lemon juice |
½ | tsp. | cinnamon |
Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray 8- or 9-inch glass pie plate with non-stick cooking spray.
In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Add melted butter and mix well. Set aside ¾ cup oat mixture for topping. Press remaining oat mixture firmly on bottom and sides of pie plate.
Bake in preheated oven 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Using same bowl, stir together pie filling, cranberries, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Spoon filling over hot crust, spreading evenly. Sprinkle topping evenly over filling. Bake 18-22 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature, with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
