Ziti With Great Northern Beans

1/4 | cup | vegetable broth |
1/2 | cup | onion -- chopped |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
20 | oz. | tomatoes, low sodium |
1 | cup | navy beans, cooked |
10 | ounces | ziti pasta |
1/2 | cup | parlsey, chopped |
1/4 | teaspoon | pepper |
1/2 | teaspoon | thyme, ground |
1/2 | teaspoon | basil |
- Cook ziti al dente and drain.
- Heat stock, add onions and garlic; saute until clear. Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Add beans and seasonings, simmer 10 more minutes.
- Serve over ziti and sprinkle with parsley.
