1 | lb. | ground beef, browned and drained |
1 | 15 1/2 oz. jar | spaghetti sauce, your choice of brand and ingredients ( I use ragu, traditional) |
8 | oz. | spaghetti, cooked and drained |
1/3 | cup | parmesan cheese |
2 | eggs, beaten | |
2 | tsp. | butter |
1-1/2 | cup | cottage cheese |
2 | cups | mozzarella cheese |
Mix cooked spaghetti, parmesan cheese, butter and eggs. Layer on the bottom of a pan. Your choice, you can use a 9x13, or a large, deep pie pan. Evenly layer cottage cheese over spaghetti mix. Mix sauce and beef together and layer over cottage cheese. Layer mozzarella cheese over beef mix. Bake in oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes, depending on how thick your pie is. The cheese will be melted and just starting to turn brown
