This was the first recipe my son, Seth, requested from me when he was in college and got his first apartment. He was cooking for his girlfriend and couldn't find his recipe. Thank goodness for e-mail!!!
1 | Can | Campbells cream of mushroom soup |
3/4 | Cup | Milk |
1 | Tsp. | Prepared mustard |
1/8 | Tsp. | Pepper |
1 1/2 | Cups | Macaroni, cooked and drained |
2 | Cups | Cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 | Cup | French-fried onion rings |
In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, stir together soup, milk, mustard and pepper. Stir in macaroni and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until hot; stir. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and onion rings; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
