4 Cup water and 10 beef bouillon cubes or 4 C Consomme broth
1 small chopped onion
Salt and Pepper to taste
Melt margarine, add dry rice and onion. Braise well until margarine
bubbles. Heat water and bouillon cubes (or broth) very hot. Mix with rice, add seasoning. Stir well, cover pot or casserole and place in oven.
Bake 375° for 30 minutes. Stir well, put back in oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
If using a microwave, cook for 15 minutes on high, stir well and cook for 10-15 minutes more.
