GUMBO-STYLE RICE

chicken broth

chopped onion

chopped celery

chopped bell pepper

tablespoon
butter or margarine, melted

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
garlic powder
1/8
teaspoon
pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x4-inch loaf pan with non-stick vegetable spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; stir to mix well. Pour into prepared loaf pan; seal tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
(Yield: 6 servings)
