1 | Cup | Uncooked long-grain rice |
3/4 | Cup | Beer |
1/4 | Tsp. | Salt |
1/4 | Tsp. | Pepper |
1/4 | Tsp. | Dried thyme |
Saute onion and green pepper in butter in a saucepan over medium heat until tender. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; add bouillon mixture to onion and green pepper mixture. Stir in rice, beer and seasonings. Bring to a boil;cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
