18 | | Green tomatoes

5 | cups | Sugar
|
5 | | Bell pepper
|
| | Pickling salt
|
5 | | Hot peppers
|
1 | qt. | Vinegar
|
5 | | Onions
|
| | Pickling spices
|
- Quarter tomatoes and slice peppers and onions.
- Heat vinegar, salt, sugar
and spices until boiling, pour over tomatoes, peppers and onions.
- Let sit
for about a week before placing in jars.
