Cookie Cutter Ornaments
From the Kitchen of: Pepper
In a large pan mix:
| 1 | C | Corn starch |
| 2 | C | Baking soda |
Add all at once:
1 1/2 CWater
- Stir until smooth. Cover and cook over medium heat stirring
occasionally, until mixture is the consistency of slightly dry mashed
potatoes; this will take about 5-6 minutes. Turn onto a cool surface
and cover with a damp cloth. When cool enough to handle, coat hands
with corn starch and knead until dough is smooth and pliable.
- Roll out and cut with holiday cookie cutter. Use a toothpick
to make holes for hanging. To dry, place on a baking sheet in a 250 to
350� oven until hard. Ornaments may be painted after drying.
