1/2 | tsp | Cinnamon |
1/8 | tsp | Cream of tartar |
1/4 | C | Boiling water |
1½ | C | Pecans |
1/2 | tsp | Vanilla |
Mix sugar, cinnamon, cream of tartar and boiling water. Boil until a little of mixture forms a firm ball when dropped in cold water. Add the pecans and let stand a few minutes to cool slightly. Add vanilla and stir until the mixture sugars on the nuts. Turn onto a flat surface and separate the nuts.
