I have some ornaments that are at least 3 years old and have had no trouble. Enjoy!

1	C	Cinnamon
1	C	Applesauce, unsweetened

• Do not use sweetened applesauce.
• Drain the applesauce overnight in a coffee filter lined sieve to remove most of the liquid. Mix the drained applesauce and cinnamon until a stiff dough forms. Roll out the dough on waxed paper that is sprinkled with cinnamon. Roll it to about 1/4 thickness. Cut out using cookie cutters. Make a hole with a straw and dry on clean wax paper turning a few times each day so they do not curl up. Thread with ribbon. You can decorate them with fabric paint too.
