Spiced Apricot Ginger Preserves

Source: Betty Crocker Holiday Cookbook
Put in a pretty 1 cup jar with lid and top with ribbon or bow and give as gifts.
1 | C | Apricot jam |
1 | tbsp | Finely chopped crystallized ginger |
1 | tbsp | Orange-flavored liqueur |
1/4 | tsp | Ground nutmeg |
- Mix all ingredients in a 1 quart saucepan.
- Heat to boiling; boil 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon into gift jar. Store covered in refrigerator up to 2 months.
Yields: 1 cup of preserves.
Note: You may substitute orange juice in place of the orange liqueur.
