Smothered Pork Chops

Flour |
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt. Flour and brown slowly in a small amount of oil. Place in
a large baking dish.
- Slice apples in 1/3 inch rings. Arrange on chops and sprinkle with brown sugar. Add 3
tbsp. flour to oil and cook.
- Add 2 cups hot water and stir until boiling. Add vinegar, salt and raisins. Pour over
chops.
- Bake in moderate oven until apples are tender
