Sausage and Bacon Pudding

1 | C | flour |

Wrap each sausage in half a bacon slice. Place side by side in a 2-inch deep pan. Bake at 400F for 20 to 30 minutes, or until brown, watching that they don't burn. Meanwhile, make the batter. Beat the egg and add 1/2 cup of milk; blend well. Stir in the flour, then add the remaining milk, salt and pepper. Let stand unitl the sausages and bacon are browned.Pour the batter over them and put back in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. or until the pudding puffs up and turns golden brown. It's great with a salad.
