1/2 | C | cold water |
Wash rabbit, cut up. Place in a heavy cast iron casserole dish. Add onion, celery, salt and pepper. Add boiling water. Cover tightly. Simmer for 2 hours. Add vegetables and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Mix flour and water to make a paste. Gradually add to liquid in casserole to thicken stew.
